Description

Future is bright with all these young grade A prospects. Sharks will be very skilled and good in 2-3 years with tons of Cap space to sign some big UFA’s. Vlasic and Couture’s contracts will be off the books and the Sharks will be back making the playoffs every year like they did back in 2000’s and 2010’s.

Yup, Yakemchuck is projected to be in the #13-15 spot so we have a good chance to get him at #14. I think the Sharks will look to get a d man with that pick after getting Celebrini at #1.

I think Celebrini will go back and play another year in NCAA and then in 2025-26 season make his way over to the Sharks. There’s no need to rush him. Let him dominate college hockey and gain more confidence if he wants. Sharks will be free from Vlasic’s contract in 2 years and they’ll be ready to sign big UFA’s around 2026-2027. I think that’s when they’ll start to be relevant and making playoffs again.
