The title is pretty ridiculous.. there's still the theme that the habs need to get a center and will pay whatever it takes to get one.. they have so much depth on the wings that one of drouin or galchenyuk will be playing center (probably galchenyuk).

Completely agree. How can you miss the playoffs with a core of Weber, Price, Galchenyuk, Drouin and Pacioretty? Unless your core guys get injured for a key part of the season

montreal might miss the playoffs, but acquiring anismov doesn't help that much.

Montreal has a very hot start but had a poor record from New Years on. Sure they can miss. Tampa should be better, maybe the Leafs, and Ottawa and Bruins did make the playoffs last year. As of now, the Canadians lineup is worse than last years....no Radulov, no Markov, no Beaulieu, and just added Drouin. They're in a fight to make the playoffs, with whole lot of other teams.

Well Palhal first of all, no matter what start or ending the team has, they always make the playoffs. Tampa will be fighting with mtl for top spot in the division, followed by Ottawa and Boston. As of now, our line is one of the best in recent years, but yes some question marks remain. The acquisition of Drouin should not be taken lightly as this guy is an elite player and will be a star for years to come. You are never in a fight to make the playoffs, when you have the worlds best goalie in net. Our only rival in the division is Tampa. Leafs, Buffalo, Florida and Detroit don't stand a chance against the habs, as seen last season. Leafs will just blow a lead as soon as they get one and they were incredibly lucky that tampa and isles did not play well, or leafs wouldn't even have made the playoffs. Florida will improve and maybe even buffalo, who are the leafs competition. Both florida and buffalo have offense, but better defense then the leafs.
1 point that always comes up with the habs is that there defense men are "slow". Well surprise, you don't need to be a fast defenseman to be a good defenseman. I can go on, but I have argued with you before, but you never bring any solid points, so I'd rather not waste my time.
Good luck trying to make the playoffs next year. If Price, Eichel, and Stamkos get injured, and none of ur players get injured, you guys might actually squeak through!

Price is the goat. You really have this hate the for the Leafs. Yes, the Leafs blow a lot of leads last season,,, but mostly early the season. The main reason IMO was the individual play so much is just that they had so many rookies and new players on the team, defensively they weren't jelling. After February 1st there overall GAA and points were good.
I am a Leaf fan and realistic in my views. They aren't "my players" as you so incorrectly statement So you don't have to waste your time reading my objective opinions. But you call the Sabres defence poor, compared to the Panthers and Sabres, I just wonder if watch many games in the Eastern Conference. I know the Leafs are going to fight to make the playoffs with a bunch of other teams, not only the Atlantic but really it's the Eastern Conference top eight. Is it your Vancouver bias or whatever hate your have the Leafs , I just don't understand. Or do you just like to troll.

Haha. Kinda obv I hate the leafs. And what Vancouver bias? The sabres defense has improved greatly with Scandella. And yes Ristolianen is better then any leafs defenseman. No I don't troll, I represent realistic views.I live in Toronto and I see the media bias everyday. That bias creeps into the fan base, who all of a sudden think that the leafs are the best team in the league, and the players love toronto blah blah. Its all bull ****. Also, if u get offended by my posts, then don't answer back smile
