I put very little thought into it but Quinn has 3 years of term, Jack has 6.

If I had to make a real proposal, which would only occur if Quinn for some reason demanded a trade

I think it only works with Nemec tbh. I was just trying to spitball a similar offer that you made just the other way around. The way I see it

Jack > Quinn (because of term mainly)
Miller > Hamilton
Hronek > Mercer (or maybe equal?)
Hoglander < Marino (Not too sure because I know Marino struggled a bit this year but he’s still a top 4 RHD)

Obviously neither are happening though, unless Jack and Luke decide they want to come be Quinn’s assistant captains /s

And from my view it can't work without Hamilton in terms of cap and role. Luke Hamilton and Quinn can't all coincide on the same team and NJD can't afford Luke Quinn and Dougie

From a pure hockey perspective honestly Luke as the centerpiece of a quinn trade would make the most sense, but obviously would make no sense for non hockey reasons.

That would be the biggest package in more than a decade.

Top 10 RD for 7 mill pays for 1 year of Quinn

Top 10 pick pays for the second year


Quality LD+Top prospect pays for the 3rd year

But again I fully recommend Vancouver keeps quinn
