Description
I think, after this 2 trades, Rangers would be considered a real contender to win the SC next season. They'd have probably the fastest line of the entire league (Kreider-Duchene-Zucarello) and one of the most dangerous too.

As a Pens fan, I wouldn't like to face this team in playoffs. Even as a 2 time SC Champions.

why would Vegas want an aging, expensive winger with one year on his contract instead of Marchessault? with a 4th rounder as incentive?
Bereglazov is a wild card for the Rangers to make the team, but not a valuable trade asset. Puempel is a 13th fwd on most teams. not even close to fair value

Have you seen all the trades made by Vegas post expansion draft. Almost all of them were nonsense at all. I know the trade are not fair. But Vegas can accept cause they dump good players just for picks and average prospects in most cases.

As for Duchene trade, Duchene is a very good player, but he's not a star, as many ppl thinks. Specially Avs fans and Sakic. That's why, even as a Pens fan, I think this trade is fair enough for him.

If I was Rangers GM, my last offer would be swap Puempel for Vesey. I don't think Duchene deserves more than this.

Duchene asking price has been consistent: Former 1st round roster player, former 1st round prospect and a future 1st round pick.

Bereglazov is a prospect of interest, but a relatively unknown otherwise...he doesn't = 1st round prospect no matter how you try to skin it, not even close

Puempel??? he's an extra forward/fringe NHL'er....come on

2018 1st rounder is the only thing you came close with

As for Duchene's value...he is a very good top line center/all star caliber player...he definitely is not an elite player, but youre way off on his value.

So now I find myself asking myself...why did I click on this???
