rather sign Raymond to a long-term than extend Kane for a year or two.

I'm on board for Lindholm, I think hes the 2 C we desperately need.

May as well go 8x8 with Raymond, the cap will rise again after next season, and if he keeps improving, in 5 years, Raymond at 8 million will look like a steal.

Kane is gone in my opinion. He obviously does a lot offensively, but I don think there is Cap space to bring him back. I'd rather use that 5.5 and target an all around defenceman. Montour is my dream, but thats unlikely, but there are other guys that should improve the blueline. I want a solid 2nd pair D to play with Edvinsson next year. Running back the same D group (minus Holl) wont be good enough.

Can't imagine Lindholm will sign for that much. Some center-desperate team will likely give him 7+.

Why? I know he's not getting any younger but he was basically a point per game player on a team desperate for point getters.
