Dostal isn't ready to start 55+ games, Stolarz started a career high 28 games this season, he also is 30 and has had hip/knee issues in the past. Gibson for all his stints on IR isn't on there for very long at any given time and has had minimal hip/knee issues, majority of his stuff is soft tissue that heals well, and the one time he went on IR for wisdom teeth a couple seasons back.

Even with a big splash on RD in FA our defense isn't where it needs to be yet, we need a veteran hand out back for the nights that things get hairy.
