It is a no brainer for the caps. It would also indicate that Bill Armstrong has no brain, if he did this. Pacioretty is useless at this stage of his career, his veteran presence is not worth giving them up. Milano is already known and he is not worth either of them. The 'Yotes obviously do not need more picks, either.

Patches is expiring so he brings no value to Arizona, so really it's just Milano and 2 2nds for Crouse and McBain. This is a fairly quick decline for Arizona, who would be wanting a 1st more than likely for Crouse, as they likely value him similarly to the Caps with Wilson. And speaking of Wilson, I don't particularly like the fit, Crouse feels like he would be a carbon copy of Wilson in Carbery's system and the Caps don't really need another winger in the system who'll score slightly less than Wilson and hit people. Caps need scorers first and foremost.
