Ronde 1
1. Zeev Buium (Sharks de San Jose) (Détails: After watching Zeev play last night he should be our number 1 target if he falls anywhere close to our draft selection. Trade up to get him if we need to. He is electric.).
2. Cole Eiserman (Blackhawks de Chicago) (Détails: Eiserman would be ideal for the Capitals. They need scoring options going forward, it is obvious that the current structure of the team is not deep enough with scorers.

Is more of a boom or bust type prospect. Could go earlier or could slip. I think he is the perfect forward for the Capitals to draft if he is on the board.).
3. Michael Brandsegg-Nygård (Ducks d'Anaheim) (Détails: Power-forward who would play Caps hockey. Has potential to learn from Wilson and learn how to be an effective NHL power forward. RW depth would be huge in the draft.).
4. Igor Chernyshov (Blue Jackets de Columbus) (Détails: Another Russian prospect. The Capitals certainly do not fear drafting Russian and he could help with scoring depth).
5. Adam Jiricek (Canadiens de Montréal) (Détails: Jiricek is seen as under or overrated depending on who you talk to. I believe he is underrated and could end up being a very similar player to his older brother.).
7. Konsta Helenius (Sénateurs d'Ottawa) (Détails: Helenius seems to be someone that several people have projected to the Caps. RW depth would be great and he has already been playing against men so he wouldn't take too long to develop into an NHL ready player).
8. Trevor Connelly (Flames de Calgary) (Détails: Cannot deny Connelly's skill. But he does have attitude problems. He has owned up to his shortcomings so I cannot see him dropping too much showing his growth in maturity.).
9. Teddy Stiga (Kraken de Seattle) (Détails: I see Stiga going somewhere in the Mid-first round. Seems like the Benson of this draft. Slightly smaller frame with elite offensive talent.).
10. Ivan Demidov (Sabres de Buffalo) (Détails: THERE IS NO CHANCE OF THE CAPS GETTING DEMIDOV. BUT lets add some spice here and say the Caps should find a way to trade up for him.).
