If the Devils price for Markstrom is Holtz and a 1st then the 2nd Detroit is giving up here is essentially payment for taking on that Huuso contract. I could see a 3rd instead of 2nd but any less and the Flames people will be ripping this for the exact opposite reason.

Sorry but a 34 year old Markstrom isn't returning no 1st and 2nd Husso and Mazur. Detroit isn't wasting their future for 2 x $6,000,000 Markstrom whose likely retired by the time we're ready to compete.
