Idk I’m not him
But I assume to either finish his education or for more development, he had a pretty brutal year this year

He and Minnesota staff thought another year would really benefit his development

He said he wants another shot at the NCAA championship. But I would not assume that stance will hold. Cooley also said he was coming back, then a little time passed and he changed his mind.

Where did you get that from? And since when does Minnesota have any say in the matter? What they think is 100% irrelevant.

As far as I'm concerned, Buffalo can keep Krebs. Heck, they could keep the 3rd, too. One for one works for me.

Yeah man, why would you want to play in college when the NHL is waiting on you

Well, it certainly would not be the first time. But he was two days off their NCAA loss, hardly a clear-headed time to decide such a thing. I get it, he probably feels he owes the team or maybe a title was his goal when he showed up. I don't know exactly, but like I said, that decision may not be etched in stone. Schenn said he talked to him on the phone, and kinda implied the kid was torn not knowing what to do. It also would not be the first time a kid made the leap after initially saying he was staying. Or maybe he stays. We shall see.

Shhh... I wouldn't mind Krebs. The third though can be kept. Feels like a good amount in this proposal already for Faulk.. but I won't complain

No interest in Faulk
He’s old with a big Cap hit & we aren’t looking for another offensive defenseman- we need a “shut down” type,
and that’s just not him

interviews with him said that his dad and grandpa were both gophers so college hockey is a huge thing for him and he believes that he can LEAD the team to a championship. Honestly im not even mad, he wants to better his game and hone his leadership, if hes going to be a core piece for STLs future this is important. I doubt this is a gauthier situation
