Regression for a player on his ELC is just a silly statement. Florida almost certainly declines this though and Lundell isn't going to be getting 4M on his next deal either, probably 2.5M max

Detroit passes, Nate Danielson 2C and Marco Kasper 3C will do just fine. We don't need Lundell and that offer doesn't even come close to landing him anyways.

Panthers aren't trading Lundell without a 1st being included.

Florida seems like a team that would rather have nhl ready players then picks. A 1st round pick won't see the ice for 3-5 years for them where the players could step in right away. I'm not super familiar with Lundells game but stat wise him and veleno don't appear too different this year. Figured berggren and a 2nd would make up that difference.
