Eller has what 10-11 pts less than Saad and 1 less game for almost half the cap hit and less years. Why would the pens want to make that swap and then pay a lot more on top of it? Lol Eller is far from a cap dump and likely could get a 2nd round pick in return if the pens wanted to make room for young guys like Poulin, Ponomarev, and Yager.

I never said Saad WAS a cap dump. I said IF THERE WAS a cap dump in this trade that it would be Saad. That doesn’t mean he actually is one though. And a guy who has only hit 25 goals once in 8 years and twice in his career is hardly a guaranteed 25 goal/50ish point guy
