You mentioned Utah. I just wonder if Utah has even fan support for 14,000 people paying NHL ticket prices for 41 games a year. I just wonder if Utah might be another Arizona.

tbf 14k would be nearly a 200% increase in ticket sales compared to what they currently have

True, but after the first few years, would interest wane paying big ticket prices? I would love for the Quebec to have a team, but I have my doubts if there is enough population and businesses that would prepared to buy season tickets year after year.

the remparts consistently sell out an nhl sized arena (that was built specifically for an nhl expansion team might i add), there is more than enough of an interest to put a team back in quebec

Season tickets for the Remparts: A Family Plan is available (2 adults and 2 children aged 16 and younger) starting at only $760.

Season tickets for the Coyotes: A single standing room only season ticket $3,280 (includes one beer per game).

a significant part of this difference is that the remparts don't have to fork out 70 million dollars in salary. you can say what you want about having shared revenue, but no team in the league is going to agree to give another franchise that much money to simply exist

obviously if quebec had an nhl team there would be significant increases in the price, but the interest would still be substantial. they're selling out games at a level that is significantly below the nhl - if the nhl were back in quebec there is 0 reason to believe that they would be worse financially than the coyotes
