I hate the Red Wings cus you don't like my trades Lancebmx? They aren't a good team so changes are made. Nobody loves the Red Wings logo more than me but I'm not loyal to players because the team comes first. These trades improve the team but some people just don't know hockey. Berggren wants out and Veleno isn't a winger. Both players I traded for good KHL players and I liked them in their draft.

When fans have to face reality, they get mad. I’m neither a Wings nor Kings fan, but I understand your trade. If teams keep losing with the same roster, changes need to be made. The objective is to make the TEAM better and win the Cup.

The guy you're talking with has made multiple trade threads selling Lucas Raymond, claiming he sucks, and has tried to trade FOR Seth Jones, multiple times.

Ok maybe he’s a 14 yr old kid who plays a lot of NHL 24…I don’t know. I just understand people get mad when certain trades are made. Sometimes “top players” need to go. I see the Wings, Sens, Sabres and I can’t figure out what their problem is. So much talent on those . Every year it feels like “it’s the year”…I’m hoping those teams turn it around. I enjoy watching those kids play. It’d be great for hockey. Need some new younger blood in these playoffs.

Berggren and Veleno aren't top players... The reason the trades are being laughed at is because it's two NHL commodities for two guys who have apparently washed out of the NHL and have resigned to KHL careers. Berggren has played 12 whole games this season and has half as many points in those 12 games as Kravtsov in his NHL career. That's absurd.

Detroit's problem is their offensive overachieved to compensate for their abhorrent defense and made them appear better than they actually are for most of the season. Now a large group of fans are having a knee-jerk reaction because they got lulled into a sense hope that we were actually a playoff team and are back to reality.

Yzerman's lack of activity at the TDL made it pretty evident how he felt about the team's status. Honestly, I think the team is doing exactly what he wants. They're not contenders, but they're hanging in and competing to the end, rather than mailing it in and letting a losing culture sink in.
