Still hit 82 points and 42 goals 2 seasons ago. Calgary turned into a dumpster fire and idk why he's not that good on Vancouver but still at better option than Roslovic. Also with him not playing as well getting a cheaper contract will help if he can be a 70 point guy and get kreider and zibby going 5v5.

By the way, look at who his linemates were 2 seasons ago and you’ll see why his stats were good

They can’t afford to be giving out big contracts like that unless it’s a 1 year deal or the player is guaranteed to produce
