they have to choose 2 out of the 3 of Marchessault, Stephenson, and Hanifin

I would think Hanifin signs for a mil less and duclair would need at least in the high 2's

I think it's also possible that both Sheary and Jeannot are moved as well , in addition to Hanifin taking 500-750k less, in order to see about keeping Stamkos. Many on here seem to just assume Hanifin is just a lock to re-sign with Vegas, but that's far from any guarantee. Even if he does, there will be plenty of quality top 4 dmen more than likely hitting free agency this summer, and Tampa will likely be adding one.
