I wouldn't mind trying Tavares with matthews and Marner which gives Tavares maximum offensive support to maybe generate more offence from him than we've seen this year. Its also less stress on him defensively.

Domi Nylander and Bertuzzi have been inconsistent of late but I support the idea of keeping that line together as they have shown great upside when they're on their game.

I am open to the idea of starting out Dewar, Knies, and Jarnkrok on the third line because I think this line has the potential to bring a good two way game. Jarnkrok is excellent defensively and trusted by the coach and Dewar (by all accounts) is great defensively as well. This line would be extremely fast and hard on the forecheck knies and dewar both play quite physical and all guys have the ability to put the puck in the net

Kampf and Reaves have been playing well lately with anybody they've played with whether it be holmberg, gregor, or McMann.

As for the D pairs, the Leafs generally end up mixing up pairings often as the game goes on based on many factors so i'm not quite sure what they'll do there with the entrance of Edmundson by my suggestion is to swap him in for Liljegren who has had quite a rough stint since the increase in difficulty in the leafs schedule. Play Rielly and McCabe high minutes and keeping the other 4 in the mid to high teens in ice time.

Who knows what happens and who knows if these would ever work, all purely hypothetical.
