Description

Canes fans, what changes would you make? I think you can mix around any of the top 4 wingers. I think you stick with 48, 11, and 24 on the third line and will be interested to see how Rod rotates Drury, KK, Noesen, and Fast on the 4th line. Personally don't think you separate 23 and 18 so I'm interested to see what we do with Fast and KK. Funny how the 2 guys that combined for the series clinching goal against New Jersey last year are fighting for the last spot. Good problem to have so at least a guy like mackenzie maceachern isn't logging playoff minutes again! Hopefully Kuzy works out and returns to form.

Where do you think he slots in our lineup? I'm also skeptical of him (especially with him at 3.9 next year and all the guys to resign) but holding out hope he can regain his form as he is still only 31. I did hear a quote today of what Barry Trotz said after Washington won the cup "Kuzy was our best 200 foot player." If Trotz can bring that out of him I'm thinking Rod has a chance as well.

Yeah but this post was for playoffs game 1, maybe Kuzy is up to speed by then who knows. Based on KK's recent deployment I think the canes hope is that Kuzy can play 2c by then.

In your scenario I assume Fast is on the 13th forward.

I think they will use kuznetsov for the playoffs and either buy him out or try n trade him in offseason

Yes Jarvis is better than teuvo. But teuvo doesn’t fit in a 3rd line role, Jarvis does. Once Jarvis moved on staal and martinook’s line they have finally started to *slightly produce while also being the shutdown line
