I think both those guys could be in the NHL next season, if not possibly now. Without Kuz or Lindholm, they are okay. Kuz was having a down season and Lindholm hasn't meshed.

Adding two young pieces who can contribute very soon on ELC is a big plus. It would offer up more cap space if Van wanted to pursue a player like Tarasenko or a vet RHD on a one year deal next season.

The thing is I think Lindholm's value is a bit lower with him currently struggling and now it's out there that he doesn't have a great work ethic.

Meanwhile, Bruzteswich's value has only risen since he was traded, so I don't think this is a good way to look at this deal.
