Why are we trading anything for a goalie that has been terrible in the AHL? That trade with the Oilers isn't enough. I would be fine with the premise, but according to puck pedia it would take a top 15 pick in the 1st to take that contract. Unless you really like Broberg it wouldn't be enough.

Edmonton declines anyhow. Thet value Broberg and they also value their 1st. Walker and cap space 2 years down the road isn't enough to entice them to give up those pieces. They'll use those pieces for legit roster improvements, not a 3rd pairing defenseman and future gain.
