Zadorov at 4.5 is rich. I like what he brings and I agree someone might pay him that but in reality he is about a 3 mil dman.

Wouldn't wanna get 30 yr old Guentzel a 7 yr deal either. Target another winger though for sure.

sometimes you gotta bite the bullet for the early years of the contract, Zadorov is starting to fit in and the nucks are close w his agent. I think Guentzel prob isn't the right guy but he may be the best option available. I prefer vatrano but I think his price will be way too high

Being close with an agent doesn't mean you overpay for a player.

I think that biting the bullet thing is just a common mistake. When has it ever worked out?

I mean they are in close contact with his agent about an extension. Also Zadorov is a top 4 dman. You don't get those cheap....
