I think moving RyJo is still very much on the table. We need more out of that 4 million even with his improved play. Honestly though I don’t think he’s as negative value as we may think. Hes on pace for 31 points playing 13:50 a night. Hoping it’s only a 3rd to move him. Part of me is also curious if there being a lack of 2C available we might just add Laughton as a 3C and maybe get buchnevich to just try and give our centers very high qualities wings. Val-Colton-Buchnevich 2nd line is still quite formidable

Yeah he would be real expensive but he’s also a big needle mover which Henrique isn’t and he wouldn’t be a rental. I expect us to nab Henrique but if they decided there wasn’t a meaningful upgrade at center I can get behind that move for sure

I think he's the best guy on the market right now (buch) but it would totally handcuff the avs for next season, unless Landy retires to the LTIR.. I'd much rather a rental or cheap forward option like frost, Laughton or sissons

Frost isn’t getting moved I don’t think. It would have to have retention for it to work next year for sure. Laughtons to me isn’t an upgrade on Colton and would cost a first I don’t personally see fit. I’d rather get Wennberg than Laughton as he’d be cheaper and a rental. I don’t think Wennberg is an upgrade on Colton either though

I don't think it's about being an upgrade on colton anymore, because colton wood and O'Connor should stay together, it's about who can successfully play between the 2LW and 2 RW to allow them to take scoring pressure off the 1st line

My thing if we are gonna spend a first rounder I’d hope for a better center than our 3C by a pretty big chunk which Henrique is better but on our team if you put him and Colton in the same exact position is he that much better? Our FO is way smarter than me so I’m confident they’ll find a good solution
