Ha! Insiders... when are Canadian fans going to catch on that these guys just tell you what you want to hear? There are two premium forwards potentially available and probably 8-10 teams who would want them. How is that a buyer's market? That's the opposite of a buyer's market.

Then you add in that 1) Buch is not a UFA like Guentzel is & 2) the Blues do not want to trade him. The price is so high because that is what it would take to get the Blues to give him up.

Meanwhile, the Blues would almost certainly have less than no interest in Kane AND you have not offered anything to address their runaway primary need.
