The Senators are not trading Pinto unless a better center is coming back. Norris, as predicted, got hurt again, so he is needed even more. I wonder if the Sens fans that didn't want Ryan Hartman and Brandon Duhaime for Norris in my proposal the other day are reconsidering now.... this is exactly why it made sense (for Ottawa...)!!

I love Hartmans game but he alone wouldn't be enough and Duhaime doesn't have any value. Middleton with Hartman then its looking better

Hartman (forward) have two good years left in him and And centermans have more value then forwards. Norris Will probably be on LTIR so that ease the cap strap Ottawa has right now. And next season if Ottawa make the playoffs we can Do a Kucherov for the start of the playoffs with Norris come-back.

And leave the Senators in a constant state of needing almost $8m in free cap space just in case he returns from time to time? They should put that cap space to better use.

Equating Kucherov and Norris, I'm afraid, just their situations, not as players, won't cut it for Ottawa's real life chances of winning a Cup. And they are definitely not in the same realm as players, either.
