Even without Sissons, I wouldn't trade Carrier for that. I think NSH should be able to get at least a 2nd for Carrier without retaining, or taking back a cap dump.

I agree with the 2nd for Carrier, was being generous with Broberg for Ceci. Figure Broberg + 2nd has to be worth a 1st to someone though.

Yep, they wouldn't because he reached his max performance bonus with the oilers. Same way that the caps will be on the hook for all of Pacioretty's bonuses that he reached/reaches with them this season.

I'm not sure how much value Broberg has at this point. Maybe a change of scenery trade for another near bust, at best.

I'm sure there's still some interest around the league in him. Tbh we're all rather harsh on players here but Holland said he wouldn't move Broberg for a rental which likely means at least he believes there's still enough value to make such a statement.
