Looking for constructive feedback

I don't know what kind of deals Mercer or Toffoli would be exactly looking at or whether Devils want to resign Toffoli at all but I'm more interested about the framework here; Trading Marino for Knight and signing Tanev to replace him for two years while Nemec develops. The trade in itself is not final either and I could see Florida adding a pick or two to balance it out if needed. Be kind as I am just a Panthers fan that would love to have Marino even if it means trading away Knighter...

As a Panthers fan I'd argue anything is on the table if it increases the chances of them winning a cup with the core they have locked in for the next 5 or so years. Getting someone like Marino who can be a long term 2RHD since Montour probably can't be resigned does do that in my opinion.

Maybe…could depend on what replacement options we have. And seeing Knight back in NHL is probably best way to return full value for him. Stuck in AHL likely means he moves at discount.

Would likely only happen if either Stolarz or Bob get injured but isn't impossible... Either that or the last games of regular season

Yeah I gotta disagree with that, while Montour is great he is approaching 30 and that long of a deal is gonna **** us over in 3 years... I would not mind trading Ekblad if the return is right because I think he's overrated and overvalued by most but we'll see what happens there.
