I think it's good value. Good young players. Obviously you know I'm not a Rangers fan, but I'm hearing you guys aren't happy with Kappo and want to move, not wanting to re-sign him. You have cap issue, so you replace him with young talent that cheap $ to help with cap issues.

Kakko is not for sale and nobody who actually watches the games and has a brain is “unhappy” with him

I mean Kakko was riding like a 5 or 6 game point streak after suffering a severe injury. He’s coming back his normal self, but he’s also easily been the ranger’s scapegoat rather than blaming the vets or coaching staff

Also the rangers don’t have a cap issue. They have enough to re-sign Lindgren, Kakko and Schneider. With goodrow as a potential buy-out

ok, fair enough. just thought it was good value for a player I heard was being shopped and possibly not re-signed.

You also have to account for the fact that the rangers are horrible at developing. So they acquire 2 more young kids who they have to try and develop, rather than stick with Kakko who they know what his floor is

I feel your pain...My isles destroy young talent too.

Laffy is starting to look like his normal self from his junior hockey highlights….Kakko on the other hand is more likely a middle 6 guy with 40 points and great defense, which is fine because you need those guys too

But I can’t stand when people say Kakko sucks, but don’t look at Kreider and Mika’s 5v5 stats because them 2 don’t help Kakko at all

Laffy and Kakko are key going forward for seasons to come. Kreider and bread man are 32 (33 next year)...Not sure what the future holds for Chytil. They need to progress for you guys.

Well luckily for now, Kreider and Panarin haven’t shown any signs of slowing down, same for trocheck. I’m more worried about Mika who’s been oddly bad this year
