I like it. Nuge is clearly better than Jarnkrok, but there's the $4MM cap savings to consider and a decent defense prospect and an upgrade at the draft table.

On the other hand, Nashville gets a top-6 forward without giving up anything of significance (top-6 forward or top-4 defenseman).

Jarnkrok, Caggiula, and Yamamoto would be the fastest aggregate line in the NHL haha. I like the signings and the trade fills needs for both teams.

Jarnkrok is a very good centre. I would hate to lose nuge but we can't have a guy making 6 million being a 3rd line centre. If we move him to sing I wouldn't trade him

I love letestu style of play arguably one of the best fourth line centres in the game I hope maroon doesn't ask for to much but I thought he deserved a bit of a raise for how he lost weight just to keep up with the boys



Would be a absolutely deadly third line. Probably the best in the NHL (if Yamamoto pans out and gets a bit bigger)

Maroon makes $2.1MM this year, so $3MM seems reasonable.

And by the time his contract is up, Letestu will have lost all PP time to Puljujarvi and Strome, and he really doesn't score 5x5. Gambardella will be a better - and cheaper - option. No need to bring him back, IMO.

I believe letestu deserve to be with the boys and a shot at winning he's a veteran who brings such a positive impact to the boys and we are still relatively young guys like lucic letestu kassian and sekera are good veterans for the young boys

Jarnkrok is a pretty ok 3rd line centre but making 2M is a HUGE plus. i like this deal because nuge is superior in almost every way except for shot suppression (faced better competition) but the cap space and prospect make this a nice deal. well done
