As long as Hanifin is extended I'm good with it as a B's fan. Although trading the first is tough. They need to take a swing for a long term 1c.

Agree that Kylington should stay. Personally I like all the trades and think the Flames should do it. The problem is that the Flames owner (Murray Edwards) is old school and refuses to retain money to pay for players not playing for him. The Markstrom one is particularly painful for 2 more years. Devils likely need to add a 1st (in place of 2nd) in this scenario.

Holtz wasnt traded for Meier and he is unlikely to be trade for a 34 yr goalie. Theres a reason why the trade was off when there was a report" almost " so i think you gotta let it go man your not getting Holtz. Lower your value on a 34 yr old, your looking at a same package as Korpy last year. Also why are you so in love with making the devils smaller and softer?

I feel that Kylington will sign another contract with the Flames - Ive heard bith parties are really appreciative with each other over Oliver's health struggles, and hes young enough still to warrent another solid look. It probably makes sense for both sides to sign to a shorter term deal (1, 2 years?). With so many unknows about Kylingtons future, a "show me" type deal seems to be a good way forward.

With all that said, I woukdnt say hes untouchable. If the rifhr deal comes along I think you have to seriously consoder moving him.
