Description

It's obviously not going to be anything more than a depth move. If he was going to trade Liljegren or his 1st, he would have done it already. I'd expect this to be the quietest trade deadline ever. Nobody has any cap space. Trades for anything other depth player's is both too costly and too complicated with so much retention needed to get done. Were better off waiting until the off-season to make any major moves. Thus far it has been a good development season for the team. I expect Timmins to be moved too LTIR at some point.

Agreed. Theres no real difference makers out there and theres so many options via free agency. All these sellers are over playing their hands, its only a matter of time before they cash in on whatever they can get

Just to add, some teams may not be sellers either as they are in playoff hunt. So how many expiring contracts are really up for sale, Like your point about difference makers. Few are far between, and 95% of the time, no difference to the buyers fortunes to the season or playoffs.
