He's not a player Calgary would have much interest in. Probably a bit too small to be a really good bottom 6 center and not skilled enough to be a top 6 forward. Plus he's a left shot forward (the very last thing Calgary needs other than another NHL goalie) who will probably wind up playing wing in the NHL. Yes I know he's played some 2nd line center for the Hurricanes but that doesn't make him a bonafide top 6 player far less a top 6 center. He's only playing there because Kotkaniemi isn't working out very well at all for Carolina.

Scouting reports project Drury as a 3rd line player. Me personally I'd say that's bang on and add I put his ceiling as an Andrew Mangiapane type middle 6 forward. Not very big but a hard worker with a good motor.
