E. Lindholm shouldn't, if he finishes out the season with mid stats and goes onto the market I cannot see him getting 9+

Sway is interesting but if he wants to stay in Boston I don't think he'll get more than 5, maybe another bridge

Cap will have gone up since then so I think he’d get a number starting with a 7, especially if he gets to UFA for a full bidding war and the term is only 7 years.

If whoever buys him as a rental offers 7.25x8 that’s 14 mill more total

It’s kind of interesting. Pretty much every team that has gone the discount method is flat out regretting it now. I don’t know if retention will be needed. When I look at the teams salary structure with Frederic coming up in 25, part of me believes they’ll keep Ullmark unless he asks out, because they will need his salary slot to pay Freddy,



I do believe Boston can sign Hanifan, DeBrusk, and keep Ullmark. If you are signing Lindholm, you are letting DeBrusk and Ullmark go. That isn’t the end of it, you are walking into a situation where Freddy staying may be determined by the cap increase.

I don’t see Lindholm at all. That last point on Freddy is why I am actually starting to believe that Ullmark stays a Bruin until his contract ends unless a team gives them a reason to trade him.
