As enticing as that looks, and I do think the trade value is good for Ottawa, the Sens simply can't be trading for a $10 million defenseman right now.

Didn't San Jose eat salary? I'd say the Pens could eat a million to make it work.

Ya, the Sharks at 1.5 Million for the contract. The pens eating another 1 million would make him attractive?

With the Sharks eating 1.5 million, lets say the Pens take 1 million that'd help. Plus, take both players leaving salary into consideration

Value wise it would be fine, but it wouldn't make much of a difference. The Sens are already spending 8 million each for Sanderson and Chabot and 4.6 million each for Zub and Chychrun.

AZ trade cant see happening - jake wants way more $$ and term than AZ can give a 30yo (start of next season) and AZ has no need for a rental (def not giving assets for rental). cant see jake wants to go to rebuilding team anyway.
