Description

Jake Virtanen and Sam Bennett have struggled to make a mark with their respective clubs, but their talents are undeniable. Pleks at $3M is a bargain for the Canucks as they try to make something of the Sedins.

Lazar and Poirier are spare parts in Calgary and might be too in Montreal, but it's a reasonable gamble for the Habs.

No idea how the Habs would do, but the Laval Rocket would be AWESOME!!! Not sure all of these reclamation projects would work, but even if only Bennett develops into a productive 1-2 centreman in a couple of years -- and Virtanen just becomes a good banger -- these are good trades.

Gallagher and Tkachuk together would be monstrous.
