Why does VCR need another Miller?
I rather have VCR get Toffoli more than Miller.

You can have toffoli too you'd just have to be the best offer that includes a 1st.

I would think Miller would be an upgrade over both Myers and Juulson

Edmonton makes a ton of sense for Toffoli if they don't get Guentzel

Don't think the Canucks would be interested in Miller. He isn't an upgrade on anyone in our top 6 currently, at best he'd be our 7th D. I'd maybe give up a 5th for Miller with 50% retention, but anything more than that and the deal doesn't make sense for a 7th/8th defenceman.

I'd argue he's better than both Myers and Juulson

Per the athletic Market values:

Miller: 5.9 mill
Myers: 2.4 mill
Juulson: 0.8 mill

His analytics are better, better history.

Better on ice metrics than both, in both expected goals and actual goals.

Interesting numbers. I'd have to see more of the underlying analytics, I find the Athletic's market values can be quite deceiving if taken out of context by purely looking at the number. Juulsen was surprisingly very solid to start the year, but hasn't looked at great since. Miller would definitely be an upgrade over him. Myers has played much better this year than any other year as a Canuck. Miller could certainly be an upgrade on him, but again not sure if that's worth a 3rd round pick to be upgrading our 6th defenceman (with Hughes, Hronek, Zadorov, Cole, Soucy all ahead of them). I think if the Canucks want to upgrade the D, it's to move out Myers to upgrade the top 4 and bring in a legit 2nd pair guy like Tanev. Don't think it would be Allvin's M.O. to pay a 3rd to upgrade our 3rd pair.
