Senko said he likes playing in OTT, if they move him it for the pick, the sens say they want vets with experience, well...Senko is a vet, hes got cup experience, hes got a cup, he is what they are looking for, and at +11 so far this year, he has been one of their best players.

nieto has no value, and trading Senko for smith is a downgrade

but when Tarasenko realises he has an opportunity to play with Malkin he'll be jumping the gun.
besides if Ottawa and Tarasenko aren't planning on resigning this could be an alternate option for him

Senko is bad news anyway, no one wants to sign him long term due to his shoulder. It's always 1 hit from coming out. The term and money he wants aren't worth the risk.
