I'll kinda disagree on a few points. The Kadri trade....The trade was obtain Kerfoot and a RHD Barrie. Turns out Barrie was the 6th best Leaf Dman that one season he was Leaf.
But no way Kadri would still be a Leaf. 7m X 7 years for a aging centre isn't going be good signing by the Flames
I still don't think Tavares signing was bad. Remember it was pre Covid and the cap was suppose to go up. Where Dubas made signing mistakes was overpaying Marner and even Matthews on their first post ELC contracts. And Muzzin's 5.8m was signed just weeks before Covid so it would have been reduced.
I don't think Leafs choked in their playoff loses.....Gee at least they made the playoffs. Babcock poor game/bench management cost them at least one maybe two series against the Bruins.

Leafs get every good player for Robertson, Timmins and a 3rd.

I would give up more for difference maker.....but who are those difference makers that are being traded to the Leafs??? Certainly not Tanev or Ferraro,,,,and a host of other.
These deals at TDL hurt the buyers as 95% of the time, they don't change the fate of the buyers in players runs.
