Kerfoot isn’t worth a 1st. NYR can’t compete to VGK/COL/WPG, probably not BOS or FLA either and I’d throw EDM and VAN on that list also. Depth pieces can’t get us there. This team needs good goaltending. We need to move players rather than acquire them

I actually wasn’t. Analytics people say they were punching above their weight and now we are seeing that it was correct. 1st/2nd/3rd isn’t relevant outside of the division. NYR can’t handle the other 3 divisions. So 2 rounds of playoff is fun but also pointless when there’s 0 chance to win it all. Glad to see the youth coming around but unless we see Vezina shesty very soon we won’t have success and wasting assets for the same outcome is bad management. In fact they could move kreider, shesty, Lindgren and get the same results while loading the cupboards for the drury era
