Description
Okay so lets get right to the point. Every Oiler is performing like the team has been designed to play SINCE DAY 1!

SO ASK YOURSELVES: Why would the Oilers screw with that? Especially when they don't have to, and it would cost valuable futures???

The answer is folks, you guessed it... THEY WONT! :D

So get the Sean Walker, and Top 6 winger stuff out of your heads, Sure we COULD go out and get one, but WHY?? We have to give up futures to get rid of a problem that doesn't exist.

At this point the Oilers are gonna bargain shop at deadline cause like HOLLAND himself said in his presser, and he will say it again today in the Perry announcement, OILERS JUST GOT 2 FREE AGENTS: Corey Perry, and Dylan Holloway.

We're good, we don't need expensive rentals that teams overvalue. Like man Sean Walker is having a career year on the last year of his contract, IRONIC... He is no better than Ceci and if you think otherwise, look at the team Ceci plays on and look at the team Walker plays on... Go have a look cause you'll see what I see, and that is there is no problem here folks in just keeping a performing Ceci.

As for a Backup, Pickard is playing fine, so why not bargain shop at the deadline for one with a seller who gets too greedy in waiting to move theirs.

As for a 3C, you got Dylan Holloway who is gonna get a shot at it, SO LET HIM HAVE A SHOT FOLKS! WHY PAY FOR A PROBLEM THAT ISN'T THERE!

and last but certainly not least, you have a top 6 winger in Warren Foegele, so why don't you just keep him, and let him play that?

If there is a move there making right now, its trading Campbell while we can because he is playing well LOL! SHOCKING I know but look at his numbers in Bakersfield. Go look at my other Armchair for a trade I think that San Jose would do.

Idk why Oilers fans want all these trades to add players when the Lineup is performing. As Holland says, this team is built to win, so let them win. There 13 game Win Streak speaks for itself.

Come playoff time a top-4 d instead of Ceci is needed, I agree Walker isn't the answer but a team like the Avs or Stars is going to tear up whatever pairing Ceci is on if we meet them in the CF. If the Sens are shopping Chychrun we better go right after him, as for Pickard, I think a more solidified veteran goalie would benefit the team. Skinner gets hot and cold real quick, I can't see us winning a playoff series with Pickard making 30+ saves a night. Another goalie is needed.

As for the forwards I do agree we are set, WF and RM are fantastic top 6 pieces rn and Perry has filled that much needed veteran role.

I agree that we are playing great but it would be dumb to ignore much needed changes within our defensive game that kill us come playoff time

He's "ok" he's not necessarily bad or even a cap dump he's just "ok", last year in the Vegas series they consistently picked on him and Nurse, he's by far the slowest of the d-core, as well as the worst puck mover and playmaker. He's not the strongest backchecker and consistently gets cooked in transition, he's fine in his own zone and plays the body well but he's just not going to cut it as a top-4 guy.
