In 286 min TOI this season at 5v5, the Holmstrom-Pageau duo have been outshot 379-208 and outscored 18-11.

Pageau and Holmstrom lead the league in shorthanded points. They already don't have a good penalty kill and getting rid of them would be even worse. Having Lane as coach was also not helping their numbers. Holmstrom is one of their most promising young players, getting rid of him is not a good idea.

Most of the game is played at 5v5 and they almost unplayable at this point. They can’t generate offense or defend.

PK is mostly influenced by system/coaching. PK will improve drastically under Roy.
