What do you feel is reasonable? Walker will likely get a similar package that Tanev gets. If it were no money changing hands, a 2nd and a prospect, but the fact that any team will most likely have to retain a good chunk to make it work increases the return.

That's two 1st Round Picks worth of value for Walker. I like Walker, but that's simply way too much. You also have Dallas sending their 2nd best defenseman down to the AHL to make the cap work. That will not be happening either.

Tanev will get a 1st and a good prospect. Walker does not get a 1st and a TOP prospect. Take Bourque out of the deal entirely and you're closer.

I have to disagree with you on this. Tanev is in decline and has been the last 2 years. His contract is higher. Walker is basically having a career year and makes less money. The package would be similar if not better than Tanev. I think Bourque is a very good prospect but for the Flyers Id like to see them get a bigger body for that center position. Not bashing Bourque.

Tanev is not in decline, except when he blocks shots with his face.and he will resign a similar contract.

I’d love to get a third 1st round pick and try to trade up for Lindstrom
