Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Need defensive 1 LD to pair with Drysdale and a 2C. If Flyers can’t buyout Michkov’s Russian deal slot Brink in his spot. If Michkov comes over Brink a trade chip to fills open spots. Trade Hart for assets to fill those spots and trade Atkinson at 50% retention for whatever you can get

Buy out Campbell in a year or 2 when you need the cap.

What would be good 1 LD and 1/2C targets via FA or trade that would fit this teams new timeline?

They wouldn’t be in the same situation. Peterson expires in one year so they could either buy him out and be on the hook for a lot less years or they could bury him for a year then when Drai contract expires they have more cap space to build better team around him and McJesus which could be part of their pitch. They also get a d for this year that would help them on their run.

But the Oilers would want that cap space to win now. That’s the point of paying the 1sts. So this is basically paying 2 1sts for cap space they won’t see for 2 more years. Campbells buyout is almost the same Petersen for the first 2 years of the buyout. And even then with the cap expected to go up about 9M by then it’s not worth it.
