Talbot and Georgiev are starters who are pretty flukey and just had decent years with the Rags.
Halak had worse numbers in New York than he did in Boston and Long Island
Quick hasn't proven he can keep it up over an entire season at this stage of his career
You don't have a system to insulate goalies like the Hurricanes, Knights, or Flyers do and you don't have a generational talent coming up so you're probably not going to be as good.
I hope you realize that NYR was Talbot's first NHL team and he was developed by Benoit Allaire and that's why he's good, even if flukey now that he's away from Allaire. He was a major part of a President's Trophy winning season when Lundqvist was out with an injury
Georgiev, again, mainly developed by Benoit Allaire.
Halak was still a more than serviceable backup at 37 years old. Obviously he's going to put up better numbers before age-related decline.... what are you even talking about
Quick will be fine just like all of these other goalies have been fine. Rangers have been in a slump lately and leaving him out to dry. How do you go from being completely cooked in LA to putting up vintage numbers suddenly the next year.... oh wait, Benoit Allaire
How is the Canes' system that insulates goalies working out for you so far? Because the vast majority of Canes fans I see on this forum, on X, Instagram, are consistently talking about needing a solid goalie.
Goalies are the last thing NYR needs to worry about.
