Salary retained, plus most of the guys except brannstrom are what if’s. Pageau brings experience and a great two way game. Plus I don’t think islanders want to get rid of him so easy.

Duda is a good piece (bummer Maine didn’t work out for him). But I would think Chabot returns more than him.

these trades are awful but I like the Berube hire and the Emery selection.

Sens should be looking for a 1st, a solid NHL player, and a prospect in any Chabot trade. For example, Chabot to WSH for Fehervary, Iorio, and a 1st.

Giving up pieces for Pageau just doesn't make much sense unless it's a very minimal price when we can sign a guy like Jason Dickinson in FA.
