we dont need more depth on offense, we are 5th in the league in scoring. If we make a move at the deadline it will be for a defensemen

Agreed, if they go for anyone on offense it will just be a middle 6 guy like Dickinson, and with their limited space and assets it doesn't seem that needed or beneficial atm. I had thought Seeler would've been a great target last year and still this year, but with the way Philly is playing and the recent play of Fleury, perhaps the 3LD spot is less troubling. I have Lyubushkin @50% in most agms I make, so for now he's the main realistic defensive target for me. He's definitely an upgrade over Perbix and Raddysh as well.

The goals against numbers presumably should improve just based on Vasy getting healthier and being a massive upgrade going forward over Jonas+himself since he's gotten back

the goals against number isnt really from goaltending. The biggest problem is the system they are playing, but unnecessary turnovers by the defense is partly to blame.

yeah.. Jeff blashill (who was the head coach of the 2015-2021 red wings) has been our defensive assistant coach for the past 2 years and the defense hasnt looked this bad since we were rebuilding. The players are still decent but I have never seen someone come up with worse schemes in my life. If he wasnt coopers friend he would have been fired by now
