Description

Expecting Zach Parise to be signed after the holiday freeze and the Pelech LTIR may be ending soon since he is skating before team practices.

Wahlstrom is probably the odd forward out unless Martin conveniently gets moved to LTIR for something suspicious. Maybe the Isles include him as a "lottery ticket" as part of a bigger trade. But worst case they should try to get someone who also needs a change of scenery.

Isles are thin on RD depth. Soderstrom would add to that group and should be the first call up if something were to happen

Bortuzzo could just be a quick rental until everyone gets healthy, but he is the only guy in the room who has won a Cup before and Lou values that. The simple move is to waive him and probably goes unclaimed. However, when all the defenseman are healthy again Aho/Bolduc could be the guys who go. Getting out of LTIR and accumulating cap space again will help us toward the deadline
