Slavin has 1 less 5v5 point than Dobson and is way better on his own end... Slavin and Skjei don't usually play PP

Dobson has nearly double the Primary EV points than Slavin, since you want to remove PP from the equation.

At 5v5... Skjei has a higher xGF/60 (.29 compared to .19), Slavin has a higher p/60 (1.54 compared to 1.47).

they do account for TOI ....and teammates, and opposition. You just throw out on ice numbers that heavily depend on what team you play for. you could put Nikita zaitsev on the canes and he'd have decent on ice numbers
