We thinking rebuild at this point? I think we might be in the same boat. I think it's very unlikely we make playoffs this year and next year will probably be even worse tbh

My goal for this offseason is IF by some miracle Nylander makes it to free agency we throw a pile of cash at him. It’s going to take that kind of player being added to our this team back into contention. Assuming that isn’t an option then ya it’s basically time to prepare for the future.

I just can't see Nylander signing here. Don't think it would be super appealing signing with a team that likely won't make the playoffs until after a rebuild. I think Guentzel and Petterson will likely be traded at deadline regardless but then this offseason will be interesting in terms of rebuild talk.
