Well you don't give up assets for a goalie with a bad contract that's currently playing worse than the young cheap goalie that you're trading away.

Cool story, start him 50 of the remaining games this season and see if those stats hold up.

It’s too risky considering how long it’s been since Gibson put up good numbers- literally YEARS…. It’s been over HALF A DECADE

Please take a look at Gibson’s stats to see he hasn’t been “good” for over half a decade now

Now take a look at Gibson’s contract,
which is overpaid & way too long to take the risk of trading for him
Especially considering what it would take to get him
