I would highly advise against paying Z that much for that long. Roy is a King at that price tag, too.

I just have a feeling managment sees Zadorov as a pretty significant piece and are going to pay him but roughly have 9mil to spend between him and Roy here however that shakes out. If Roy doesn't work out I would pivot to targeting Tanev to fill that spot or even Cole on another short term deal.

I think they will be open to moving it if its for a significant upgrade somewhere and not a rental.

It's not but it is still a significant boost to our roster for 2 playoff runs during the Demko/Hughes contract window and can always re-evaluate where we are at with extending Buch at the end of his current deal. I just think he is the exact type of player we need on this roster and would elevate us into a position where we could conceivably come out of the western conference. Obviously there are no gurantees but I think it puts us right into the conversation with Dallas and LA (Colorado and Vegas I will leave in a tier above since they've proven it with recent cups). Right now I think we are a bit below Dallas and LA.
